The size is really good (20lx20l) for two people, even we care about the environment and our wastes. The design is sober and classic, perfect for a minimalist interior, with wood and carpet.
About the functioning : It’s quite easy to install and use. The only thing is at the beginning, i did not understand that i was possible to leave opened with the sensor. Good to know after 2 weeks!

On opening this product I was at first very impressed. The bin is stylish, with a stainless steel fingerprint-free finish combined with black edging, which would look great in any modern kitchen. The footprint of the overall bin is close to others on the market and is not excessively large especially given the fact that both recycling and waste buckets are provided.
The lid is activated on a motion sensor, which worked really very well, operating smoothly and very responsive. This not only reduces fingerprints but offers increased hygiene (it is battery operated, with batteries sold separately however).
However we did find one key issue. The lid has quite a large surround, I suspect due to the motion sensor. This meant that the openings for the internal buckets were drastically reduced in size when the lid is in place. This became awkward when trying to put average packaging into the recycling/bin; for example meat packaging, cereal boxes etc – even if folded flat. For us this was a bit of a deal breaker, especially as keen recyclers; this irritated us on a daily basis and we struggled regularly to get common items into the bin. As a result we will likely go back to using our previous model.
Such a shame as we loved everything else about it!
