I ordered 2 of these bins because my two dogs have decided that ‘dumpster diving’ is a new and fantastic pastime!!!
It took quite a while for them to arrive and now they are not too happy with me BUT, on a positive note, the contents remain inside and I no longer have to follow a trail of stuff all the way back to the point of origin.
The plastic is very easy to wipe down and sanitise.
However, I do have 4 negative points:
1. The lid is not easy to take off as it is not easy to grip from the outside, which means having to put your hands inside but it doesn’t take a huge effort to pull it off
2. There are NO handles to enable you to move it with ease (very bad design fault)
3. The clip to connect one bin to another is a great idea, in theory. BUT, in reality it does make it harder to change the bags
4. The holder for the deodoriser is practically useless. You are supposed to peel of the backing and attach it to the inside of the flip lid and then wait circa a day before inserting the perfumed capsule. However, in trying to open the holder it came off completely and I had to re-stick it. It would not have taken much at all to design the lid with a moulded holder on the lid flap, which users can use if they so desire but would in no way impede on space. Not to mention that once the capsule has been inserted, the bin lid does not open as wide.
The four points above aside, I really do like this bin. So much so that I bought 2 more for my bathrooms!

Very pleased with our new EKO bin. Fits exactly into the recess it was purchased for.
Good space efficient size and the “touch open” feature very useful
The bonus with EKO bins are, if you buy more than one, they can be clipped together to make recycling much easier. They also look good enough to be on display and not hidden.
The way forward for rubbish disposal. Thoroughly recommend!
